ANNIVERSARY TRIP TO WELLINGTON, NEW ZEALAND

His Majesty King  Henry traveled to Wellington, New Zealand over the Labour Weekend Holiday. Foreign dignitaries were met, as well as members of the Royal family, whom the King was unable to meet due to the independence celebrations. Armistices Day is coming up, ending up having its own remembrance day held on Monday 22 October, 2018. This was held at Wellington's National War Memorial.

FIRST INDEPENDENCE DAY

On 9th October, 2018, the Kingdom celebrated its first independence day. The celebrations day started at 12:00pm with the state flag being raised to the melody of the national anthem. Then preceding this was a speech said by His Majesty King  Henry.

A feast was laid out and the formal banquet was held in the palace gardens. Formal photos then were taken and the event ended at 6:00pm with a soirée.

ALPINE EARTHQUAKE PREPAREDNESS

On the 23rd August, 2018, the Kingdom of Malvern attended a lecture regarding a genuine natural threat, the Alpine Earthquake, hosted by GNS Science and Civil Defence NZ (through AF8). This lecture provided information on the science behind the inevitable earthquake, its effects on the surrounding areas and the aftermath and reinstatement of basic public amenities. The government will now be holding a review on the Kingdom's recovering phase after a future earthquake has hit.

KINGDOM OF MALVERN METEOROLOGICAL AND SEISMIC SERVICE

On the 20th August, 2018 the the Kingdom of Malvern Weather and Seismic Center was re-branded to what is has become now known as: Kingdom of Malvern Meteorological and Seismic Service (MSS). This is hoped to make the service more professional as it gives out weather alerts updates to the Kingdom.

MAGNITUDE 3.9 EARTHQUAKE HITS THE KINGDOM

A magnitude 3.9 earthquake has hit the Kingdom at 12:15pm local time. The quake was entered 15km east of Christchurch at a depth of 11km. No damage has been reported.

COLD WEATHER STRIKES THE KINGDOM

A cold winter blast from Antarctica has hit the Kingdom, causing temperatures to plummet to just above freezing. This caused some snow to fall, but was soon melted by some sleet. Wind has also caused an inconvenience around the Kingdom, helping with the cool temperatures. Heavy rain also occurred.

 

ANNIVERSARY TRIP TO WELLINGTON, NEW ZEALAND

HM The King will be traveling to Wellington, New Zealand over the Labour Weekend Holiday. This will encompass meeting foreign dignitaries and to celebrate the Kingdom's first anniversary.
